US Secretary of State Robert Lansing (1864-1928) was an excellent artist. While spending his time in the many meetings of the Paris Peace Conference, Lansing would make pencil sketches of some of the participants. Some of these survive in his manuscript file at the Library of Congress (Lansing Papers, Manuscripts Division, Library of Congress). I have copied and included some here. |
