Abstract: Examines the changing nature of teaching at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) over the past twenty-five plus years. Both statistical information and personal reflections are used to explain some of the changes that have taken place that have made the instructional setting at NOVA and other community collegea a far more corporatized, or bureaucratized, environment in the last few decades.
