Andrew John McCloskey (25 December 1894 - 18 September 1918) died of wounds received in action while serving with Company C, 308th Machine Gun Battalion, 78th infantry division in France. He was twenty-three years old.

Private McCloskey was originally buried in the French Communal Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France, before being moved to the St. Mihiel American Cemetery, France. Later, he was re-interred in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton.
