
1964 Slatington Centennial Commemorative plate, 10"
This nice plate is decorated with scenes from Slatington with Tucker's Mill in the center. Around the outside are the first school building, the old iron bridge over Trout Creek, the Lehigh Gap Chain bridge, the first street car, Upper Main Street, a slate quarry, Kelchner's lock on the Lehigh Canal in Walnutport, the covered wooden bridge over the Lehigh River and the 1959 Slatington high school building. The plate was produced by Kettlesprings Kilns, Alliance, Ohio.
